Transport Coordinator 

Working 5 days out of 7: 6.00AM - 2.00PM

Annual Salary of £28,500 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join our well-established client based in Derby.

Day to Day Duties

  • As part of your role you will brief and debrief Drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to
  • Be accountable for Legal O Licence compliance and for operational excellence, ie cost and service including planning and delivery
  • Provide the highest level of customer care and finding resolutions / escalation of live issues
  • The monitoring of all routes ensuring all routes are running on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate
  • Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame provided using Trutac and Microlise software to identify exceptions & schedules
  • Conduct Daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries holidays etc.

Essential Skills

  • Google Drive /Excel / Microsoft Word Experience
  • Experience of Transport management systems preferred
  • Polite and professional
  • Able to work as an effective team player, supporting and recognising the need for support wherever appropriate and be able to work on own initiative
  • Build and maintain positive external relationships internally within the team, member depots and other Logistics staff

Desirable Experience

  • Ideally, you will have experience of administration in a busy transport environment
  • PC literate
  • Have great attention to detail
