TRANSPORT COORDINATOR

MONDAY - FRIDAY: / Rotating Shift

Salary - £31,343.75

People Solutions are looking for a Transport Coordinator for our client in Derby to work a rotation shift Monday to Friday.

This is a permanent opportunity with the possibility of an immediate interview and start.

Day to Day Duties

  • Scheduling and Routing – Plan and adjust transport schedules and routes
  • Tracking Shipments – Monitor deliveries in real-time and ensure on-time arrivals
  • Communication – Coordinate with drivers, clients, and dispatchers
  • Compliance – Maintain records and ensure adherence to transport regulations
  • Problem Solving – Address any issues with vehicles, delays, or deliveries
  • Cost Management – Control transport costs and optimize resources

Essential Skills

  • Must have previous Transport Coordination/Planning experience

Desirable Experience

  • Hold international or national CPC qualification and previous Transport Management experience
