Job Title: Warehouse Quality Controller (BRC)

Hours: Monday Friday, 08:30 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours/week)

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Quality Controller will work closely with Warehouse Managers and the Logistics Contract Manager to ensure compliance with ATL's quality policies and procedures. This hands-on role involves system management, record-keeping, and ensuring all material handling equipment (MHE) is well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure BRC, ISO, and H&S documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Maintain relationships with colleagues to drive process and policy improvements.
  • Oversee MHE daily checks, report defects, and maintain equipment records.
  • Conduct weekly warehouse audits on food safety.
  • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Train and induct new team members on SSOW , ATL policies and safe working procedures.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and support the adoption of new systems and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Requirements:
  • Strong teamwork, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Access to a vehicle due to the workplace location.
  • May be required to attend other sites using a company pool vehicle.
