A Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Production Engineer is required for a aerospace manufacturer located in Derby. This organisation is looking to expand their team to improve their manufacturing / production processes across the business. You will need a Mechanical or Engineering background, ideally gained within a highly regulated industry.
Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Production Engineer Package:
Salary up to £50,000 dependant on experience
33 days holiday including bank holidays

Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Production Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and improvement of production / manufacturing processes and operations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement working alongside Design, Projects and other technical departments.
- Work with various managers on continuous improvement.
- You will be a key member of the department, providing guidance and mentorship to more junior members of the team.
- Must have proven Engineering background Preferably in Aerospace Time Served or relevant Qualification
- A Knowledge of Machining / Fabrication / Welding Processors to enable detail routings to be created.
- Knowledge of special processors including heat treatment & surface treatments preferred
- Must have Experience of planning & creating route cards / job cards Using MRP systems
- Estimating experience Experience preferred but training will be provided
- Ability to read & Understand Engineering drawings essential.
- Experience with customer specifications & processors essential.
- Must be commutable to the site in Derby
