We are working closely with a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company with a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now looking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer to carry out various water treatment duties across Public and Private sector clients. You will be undertaking cooling tower cleans and descales, servicing of CLO2 units, showerhead cleans and descales and dosing systems with correct chemicals. Covering the M1 / Yorkshire region and surrounding areas: Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, Kettering, Mansfield, Alfreton, Matlock, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Huddersfield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Working as an engineer for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently.
" Able to prioritise workload in line with client and company needs.
The Role:
" Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Servicing of CLO2 units.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Carrying out sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems.
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Closed system sampling & analysis.
" Dosing closed systems and correct chemicals.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks.
