Mechanical Site Manager

MECHANICAL SITE MANAGER!

Currently looking for a mechanical site manager to work on a student accomodation!

This role will beto oversee the mechanical installation and maintenance on a prominent residential /commercial development project in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all mechanical installation work on-site for a residential/commercial development project.
• Ensure all work complies with building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor progress and quality of mechanical installations, ensuring they meet required specifications.
• Manage site health and safety, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Liaise with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control, and resolve any mechanical-related issues that arise.
• Provide leadership and guidance to site team members and subcontractors.
• Ensure all mechanical systems are installed and tested to meet the design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Essential Requirements:

• CSCS CARD
• SMSTS
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installations, and regulations for both residential and commercial projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on-site.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
