We are currently working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of circa 1bn and a strong international presence delivery notable projects across sectors who are looking for a mechanical site manager to work on a very notable ongoing healthcare development they are delivering in Derby, East Midlands.

It is a capital works development so they have a number of upgrade and new build developments across the multi-use healthcare campus. As mechanical site manager you will work closely with a project manager and join a talented team tasked with managing the install of mechanical systems with an overview of multiple specialist subcontractors.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Management of subcontractor labour
  • Attend site meetings
  • Progress reports
  • Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFIs, etc.
  • Health and safety
  • Review and amend RAMS
  • Snagging
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project.
