Project Overview:

This position is part of a high-profile defence project, requiring candidates to work on classified elements of metallic primary structures. British Citizenship is essential due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of metallic primary structures using SolidWorks.

• Ensure designs meet structural integrity and compliance requirements for defence applications.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure project objectives are met within tight deadlines.

• Produce detailed technical documentation and design reports as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs.

• Extensive experience working with metallic primary structures.

• Knowledge of defence industry standards and practices is highly desirable.

• Ability to work effectively on classified projects while adhering to strict confidentiality requirements.

Contract Details:

• Location: Derby (3 days on-site per week for the first month, with flexibility thereafter).

• Start Date: January 2024 (ASAP availability preferred).

• Rates: Open for discussion based on experience and expertise.

• Travel: May need to travel to view customer (all costs covered).

Candidate Requirements:

• British Citizenship is mandatorydue to the nature of the defence project.

• Immediate availability or ability to start in early January 2024.
