I am working with a close client of mine looking to bring on board a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Derby.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet specifications and performance requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and test reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, materials scientists, and manufacturing engineers
  • Conduct feasibility studies and research on new technologies and materials

Qualifications:
