Support the Manager Containment Vessel Structure in the development of the designs for the Containment System, Containment Vessel structure and designs of related mechanical structures ahead of the Design review.
This will require embedment into the Definition Review process, and its applied governance and core deliverables.
Specifically, this will involve maturing the design, manufacturing & construction of the Containment Vessel & integrated structures and component interfaces with reinforcement penetrations designs into the plant layout.
Produce and collate all deliverables for design development for both the Containment System and Containment Vessel structure, to lead & participate in related deliverables.
Deliverables will include (but not limited to), a DFMEA, review of the Containment System HAZID, Human Factors checklists, Risk Register updates, design calculations, Initial Method of Manufacture report, material selection decision record, PFMEA, build schedule and cost model, as well as continually updating all DOORS modules (requirements, assumptions, design definition and component safety classifications).

Derby, UKSupport the Design Leads in the development of the designs for the Personnel Airlocks, Main Equipment Access Hatch and Fuel Transfer Channel, Piping Penetrations and Electrical Penetrations ahead of the Design review scheduled. This will require embedment into the DR process, and its applied governance and core deliverables.
Produce and collate all deliverables and run the Design review.
