Are you a skilled and motivated mechanical engineer passionate about ensuring the smooth and safe operation of critical production facilities? We're looking for a dedicated and driven Maintenance Engineer to join the team!About the Role:As a Maintenance Engineer you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the IPG filling plants. You'll be responsible for:

  • You'll be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance of our production plant and equipment, ensuring 100% compliance with all safety and engineering standards.
  • You'll work closely with subcontractors, design authorities, and internal teams to execute maintenance work and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
  • You'll have in-depth knowledge of cryogenic pumps and industrial packaged gas filling systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
  • You'll proactively identify and address potential safety and production issues, ensuring the safety of our employees and the surrounding public.
  • You'll contribute to defining solutions for equipment obsolescence and upgrades, helping us constantly improve our operations

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong background in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
  • Proven experience within the Industrial Gas Sector, Chemical and Oil industry, with experience on COMAH related sites is advantageous
  • Proficiency in CMMS, as well as knowledge of plant and process instrumentation, controls, electrical components, and safety systems.
  • A strong understanding of Pressure Safety Systems Regulation and written schemes.
  • Ability to work independently, organise, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
  • A commitment to accuracy and a deep understanding of safety and compliance procedures.
  • Full UK Driving License

  • Hours: Mon-Fri 07:30 - 4pm + 1hr lunch
