Job Description:On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Derby. This role is perfect for a technician with a strong background in FM mechanical work, including AHU, pumps, and various water system tasks. The position requires general mechanical skills and a Level 3 qualification (C&G or NVQ Level 3) to be signed off as a competent person by the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day mechanical maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Work with AHU, pumps, strip taps, and other water system components.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with a team of multi-skilled engineers.
  • Maintain a comfortable and professional demeanour in a commercial environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Level 3 qualification (C&G or NVQ Level 3) in Mechanical/Plumbing.
  • Experience in FM mechanical work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a hospital setting.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Team Environment:

  • Join a team of multi-skilled technicians with a majority with electrical bias, wanting a mechanical-biased engineer to join the team.
