Junior Account Manager

Our client who are one of the UK's largest and most successful Surface & Highways Companies are looking for a Junior Account Manager will be based in the companies Derby office. The Junior Account Manager will be rewarded with a Salary up to £30,000 and a comprehensive benefit package.

The Junior Account Manager will benefit from working within a supportive learning environment ensuring your personal development and opportunity to progress, you will be working alongside and support the Sales team, on a range of surfacing projects such as Highways, Retail, Rail, Aviation, Commercial and Defence.

• Guide client enquiries through the sales process, ensuring smooth progression.
• Keep CRM records updated with detailed notes and relevant information.
• Add and manage new contacts within projects and organisations in the CRM.
• Maintain and update LinkedIn profiles within the CRM system.
• Keep key account client hierarchy charts accurate and up to date.
• Ensure key personnel details are captured for analysis and marketing purposes.
• Assist in creating engaging content and communications for key account clients.
• Support the preparation of quality submissions for frameworks and large contract bids.
• Monitor industry news and specialist press for new business opportunities.
• Research and review client pipelines to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Provide administrative and general support to the Sales team as needed.

• Previous Sales or Account management experience
• Knowledge of the Construction or Civil Engineering sector
• Previous use of a CRM system
• Knowledge of Quality Submissions would be beneficial
• Ability to research trend and market data
• Good Admin skills
• Organised and happy to be part of a team
• Excellent Microsoft office experience
