Are you an experienced Practice Nurse looking for flexibility and a rewarding role in a dynamic healthcare setting? We are seeking a dedicated Locum Practice Nurse to join our team for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for a longer-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care, including wound management, immunisations, chronic disease management, and health screenings
  • Support GP-led clinics, including management of long-term conditions (e.g.,predominantlydiabetes, asthma, hypertension)
  • Administer vaccinations and injections
  • Deliver health promotion and education to patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential)
  • Prior experience working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care or GP setting
  • Diploma in diabetes
  • Skills in chronic disease management, immunisations, and wound care
  • Cervical cytology and vaccination certification
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
