Job Overview:Join our Medicine Therapy and multidisciplinary teams at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will provide flexible and advanced Occupational Therapy services to patients on Medicine/Winter Pressure wards, delivering high-quality care and contributing to effective discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide specialist advice and support to healthcare professionals regarding patient management.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care and effective discharge planning.
Utilize recent acute inpatient ward experience to enhance patient outcomes and therapy delivery.

Key Requirements:

Hold a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and full HCPC registration.
Demonstrated experience in discharge planning and recent acute inpatient ward work.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
