Reed Tutors is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 tutor to provide support for two students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role involves delivering tailored tuition sessions for:
- One Year 11 student
- One Year 10 student
Each student has been allocated four hours of tuition per week, making a total of eight hours per week.
Location is Derby, DE24.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons in line with the students learning needs and EHCP requirements.
- Assess progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide a structured and supportive learning environment to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Liaise with parents, guardians, and relevant professionals to ensure continuity of support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback as required.
Requirements:
- A valid DBS check registered on the Update Service is essential.
- Proven experience in 1:1 tuition and working with students with EHCPs.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Pay Rate:
£30-35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
