A reputable educational institution in Derby is seeking a skilled Plumbing Lecturer to join their team on a temporary, part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Level 3 plumbing to both Phase 1 and Phase 3 apprentices. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in delivering plumbing apprenticeship programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver comprehensive Level 3 plumbing instruction to apprentices, ensuring a high standard of learning and achievement.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to the needs of Phase 1 and Phase 3 apprentices.
  • Assess and evaluate apprentices’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Stay updated with current industry practices and integrate them into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the programme.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Qualification in Plumbing.
  • Proven experience delivering on an apprenticeship programme.
  • Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
  • Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
