Plumbing Lecturer

Hourly Rate: £30-£40 (inclusive of holiday pay)

A reputable educational institution in Derby is seeking a skilled Plumbing Lecturer to join their team on a temporary, part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Level 3 plumbing to both Phase 1 and Phase 3 apprentices. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in delivering plumbing apprenticeship programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver comprehensive Level 3 plumbing instruction to apprentices, ensuring a high standard of learning and achievement.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to the needs of Phase 1 and Phase 3 apprentices.
Assess and evaluate apprentices’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
Stay updated with current industry practices and integrate them into the curriculum.
Collaborate with other faculty members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the programme.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Level 3 Qualification in Plumbing.
Proven experience delivering on an apprenticeship programme.
Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
