About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our hospital's maintenance team. This role is primarily focused on water and plumbing-based maintenance, repairs, and projects. The successful candidate will also be involved in some general maintenance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency plumbing maintenance and repairs.
  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances.
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members on various projects.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a plumbing technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of water distribution and waste disposal systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Relevant certificate or diploma in plumbing or a related field to Level 2 or higher.
