Location: Derby

Position: Full-Time Key Stage 1 Teacher

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Start Date: September 2024

Role Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 1 and Year 2 students, ensuring that each child receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support student development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
