Role Overview:

Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Delivery:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

2. Classroom Management:

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Set clear expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
• Manage student behaviour effectively, promoting mutual respect and cooperation.

3. Assessment and Feedback:

• Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to track student development.

4. Parent Communication:

• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings and discuss student progress.
• Address any concerns or queries promptly.

5. Professional Development:

• Stay updated on educational trends, teaching methodologies, and best practices.
• Attend relevant workshops, training sessions, and conferences.
• Reflect on your teaching practice and seek continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT/ ECT) status.
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• Valid DBS check and two professional references.
