Our partner school is a large primary school set in the heart of the community that it serves. The children have very positive attitudes to their learning and a distinct pride in the school. Staff and governors are dedicated, hard-working and absolutely committed to providing the best possible education for children.

As part of this role, you will be required to-- meet the Professional Standards for Teachers;- play a full part in the life of the school community and support its ethos, values and aims.

The successful candidate must-- be an excellent classroom practitioner, in terms of planning, challenging gifted pupils, supporting special needs and creatively organising the learning environment;- have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards and achievements;- have recent teaching experience in key stages 2;- have a secure knowledge and understanding of the primary framework and pedagogy;- be passionate about the development of the whole child.
