Process Engineer - East Midlands Office (Hybrid Working Available)
This client is a leading Design and Build Non - Infrastructure solution provider in the UK. They are seeking a talented and driven Process Engineer to join their Engineering team.

As a Process Engineer, you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead and play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering design services. Your contributions will help minimise risks and maximise profits on turnkey and engineering services projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination and production of process design documents and drawings, ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards.
- Overseeing technical aspects of project delivery, as well as managing department functions and initiatives.
- Developing cost-effective process designs that meet specifications and can be effectively constructed and commissioned.
- Assessing the impact of design decisions on time costs, material costs, erection costs, and other disciplines.
- Collaborating with the Regional Discipline Lead to write, update, and monitor efficient procedures to streamline departmental operations.
- Coordinating design efforts with internal and external disciplines to achieve maximum project benefits.
- Ensuring that all designs prioritise health and safety considerations.

As demand grows for improving water quality in rivers and bathing waters, as well as increasing potable water capacity, this client is preparing to play a key role in the water industry as a leading Design and Build Contractor.
Current projects include:
- Expanding Leicester's largest sewage treatment works to support expected growth.
- Delivering cutting-edge water treatment technologies to improve resilience in the East Grid strategic potable water supply.
- Constructing sustainable wetlands to enhance stormwater treatment quality.
About You:
Essential:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience in developing process design.
- Ability to produce economic and efficient process designs.
- Experience in multidisciplinary process plant schemes.
- Previous experience in a design-build environment.
Desirable:
- In-depth knowledge of water or wastewater process design.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
- Experience in developing mass balance and hydraulic calculations.
