The position is for a Quality Inspector in Derby, offering a salary of up to £34,000 with excellent training opportunities and overtime available.
The role requires candidates to have experience inspecting high precision components using dimensional measurement tools.
Candidates should possess at least some experience in a highly regulated environment, such as aerospace or automotive industries.
While experience with CMM machines is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm, and Friday from 7am to 12pm.

Inspecting a range of machined and fabricated components, using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/calipers, gauges, micrometers etc.
To carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations.
Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making appropriate quality decisions.
To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.

Quality InspectorEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Well-versed inspecting a range of high precision components/parts, to tight tolerances
Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail for example)
Confident using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/calipers, gauges, micrometers etc.
Positive attitude, with an open mind to learning new skills

Quality InspectorDesirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Experience operating or programming CMM Machines
Knowledge/experience compiling FAIRS
Aerospace industry knowledge/experience
