The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Derby

Hours and Pay options:

Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 6.00pm (48hrs)

Level 1: 15.34 per hour/38288 per annum

Level 2: 17.28/43130

Level 3: 18.14/45277

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays

Holidays/Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, after every 5 years' service an extra day holiday up to a max of 4 days, annual pay rises negotiated yearly, pension, modern work environment, free parking, uniform.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to dimensionally inspect machined and fabricated components with hand help measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment.

Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate / Quality inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
  • Competent at reading engineering drawings
  • Previous experience with CMM machinery
  • Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing.
