Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electronic design.

  • Strong leadership experience in managing electronics development teams and projects.

  • Experience overseeing the full electronics development lifecycle, from concept to production.

Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electronics Manager to lead our electronics development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of complex electronic systems and a strong background in project and team management. This role requires overseeing the design, development, testing, and implementation of electronic systems while ensuring innovation, quality, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Lead and manage a team of electronics engineers, ensuring effective project execution and team development.

  • Oversee the design and development of electronics hardware for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Define and implement strategies for embedded system designs, including high-speed analog and digital electronics.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electronics solutions.

  • Drive innovation by identifying and integrating new technologies to enhance product performance.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Conduct advanced fault analysis and troubleshooting of PCBs and electronic systems.

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of new designs, including bill of materials, test procedures, and technical specifications.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to optimize hardware-software integration.

  • Oversee technical support for production systems, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and stakeholders to support product development.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards for all electronic designs.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Extensive experience with schematic/PCB layout, circuit design, and development tools (ideally Altium, but not essential).

  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital hardware design principles.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with VHDL and FPGA development tools (Nice to have)

  • Proficiency with electronics simulation tools.

  • Expertise in embedded C programming and microcontroller-based system design. (Nice to have)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic, results-driven mindset.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

  • Highly motivated and capable of driving technical excellence within the team.
