Unite People Build are working with a reputable and growing. Privately owned contractor to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a salary position in the Derby East Midlands area. The successful candidate will be working on any number of framework contracts, that the business is part of.

You will benefit from working in a personable environment, with an experienced commercial team daily, continuously developing your skill-set whilst managing elements of the commercial process independently over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycles.
  • Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:
