Location of Works: Derbyshire

The Company: Large National Fire and Security Company, who show no signs of slowing down and due to expansion are now on the lookout for a Project Quantity Surveyor. They look after the design, installation and maintenance across a variety of sectors.

For an Experience Project Quantity Surveyor, your package could look like the following:

£50,000 - £55,000 basic

Company Vehicle or Vehicle allowance

25Days holiday plus bank holidays

Life Assurance x 4

Progression and Development opportunities.

As a Project Quantity Surveyor your main responsibilities will be:

Manage the cost and quality of construction projects

Commercial support for PM’s

Attend site meetings when required

Identify variations to the design, spec and programming of commercial works.

Negotiate final accounts and have solutions for any disputes amongst client and sub-contractors.

Project appraisals and overspends

As a Project Quantity Surveyor your knowledge and experience will be the following:

Be well versed in NEC, JCT, ICE

Management and computer skills – Excel, word and Powerpoint

Work effectively under pressure

Quantity Surveyor Degree in construction

Negotiation skills

Full UK Driving Licence
