Your new companyYou will be joining an established main contractor working on civil works within the environmental sector. This organisation has a strong project pipeline and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their highly successful team. This is a permanent position based in the Derby area with the option for hybrid working.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Preparing and submitting applications for payment
  • Providing monthly cost reports in line with project budgets
  • Managing subcontractor packages from appointment to final account
  • Submitting valuations and variations on schemes
  • Procuring subcontractors.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience working on heavy civils projects
  • Good working knowledge of NEC form of contract
  • Sound organisational and communication skills
  • Experience working on environmental projects (ideal).
