Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 (DOE)

Benefits: Car or car allowance, bonus, pension, private medical, 25 days holiday

Location: Derby office / nationwide sites / hybrid

Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity

Fawkes and Reece are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team based in Derby. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take the project from pre-construction through to delivery so experience with pre-construction, cost planning and negotiation would be beneficial.

The candidate will ideally have experience working on public sector frameworks, but this isn't essential.

My client is a Leading Tier 1 Contractor who work on projects for both public and private sector clients on schemes up to 200m in value across a variety of sectors including, commercial, mixed-use, education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and student accommodation.

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor role

Experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor
Strong negotiating skills, pre-construction and cost planning experience.
Ideally have worked on public sector frameworks
Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential
UK Driving License.
