Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
My client has an excellent reputation in the market and due to continual growth and the addition of several new regional offices, they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their already very successful East Midlands team working on mixed tenure and contracting schemes within the region. The role will be site based, with occasional travel to the regional office in Derby.
Working within a busy Quantity Surveying department, you will ensure effective cash management and administration of subcontractor accounts and will be responsible for the financial cost control and reporting of one or more developments from the award up to and including completion of client and sub-contract final accounts
As a senior member of the team, you may also assist in the support and development of Assistant and Trainee Surveyors.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying is desirable
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry working for developers or main contractors
- Strong commercial skills to maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management
- Able to prepare and understand financial reports and utilise COINS
- Client driven with strong decision making and communication skills
