Our client is a family run business with an international presence! They pride themselves on providing an open and informal work environment where team work is at the heart of everything they do. They are presently looking for a Logistics Administrator for their office based near East Midlands Airport.

You will assist with a range of tasks to ensure that customers' orders are received in a timely and accurate manner. General duties will entail:

  • Input to the system of customer orders
  • Arrangement of transportation, liaising with hauliers and third party logistics
  • Resolving of any delivery issues promptly
  • Ensuring timely completion of customs declarations for imports
  • Processing of PODs and reviewing invoices

This is a challenging and varied role but doesn't necessarily need someone with a logistics background. However, you will need to have a knack for attention to detail and have excellent communication skills. As well as being proficient in Word and Excel you should be able to demonstrate some flexibility in your work schedule as you may be required to provide bank holiday cover occasionally (this will be compensated).

In return, our client offers bonus, training and development, phone, laptop and a friendly working environment. After initial training there will also be the opportunity to work a couple of days a week from home.
