A modern and flexible accountancy firm commutable from Burton, Derby and Ilkeston are seeking to hire into a key Accountant job at their brand new offices.
The firm have recently experienced growth and have plans to expand their team at their new East Midlands-based office, so are looking for their next team member, to continue on that trajectory.
The employer is open on the level of hire, so it can be anyone from competent Trainee/Semi-Senior up to Client Manager Grade. The role can be designed to suit the right person, but the key for Accrue is getting the best match and someone who can grow with the firm.
The firm largely deal with owner-managed businesses, contractors and varied SME’s, but the accounts / tax are generally relatively straight-forward.
At this firm they have a significant bonus structure. They commercially and look to add value, via additional services and bring in clients through referrals. They will teach new hires how to recognise such opportunities, but even those doing the basics could have the chance to earn circa £2,000 to £6,000 extra per year, perhaps more.
Duties can include:
- Accounts production
- Personal tax
- Payroll
- VAT returns
- Picking up advisory skills
