Description

  • The oversight of property compliance safety checks and inspections to properties owned and managed by the organisation across all disciplines
  • Coordinating, checking and validating, data and documentation to ensure statutory property compliance is met across all disciplines in respect of domestic and commercial properties
  • Monitor compliance across all disciplines and take appropriate action to ensure contractors are scheduling work to deliver compliance within the agreed targets
  • Manage and coordinate third party compliance audits
  • Scrutinise relevant audit reports and findings, identify trends and develop and implement any appropriate actions required to ensure compliance and process improvements are made
  • Keep and maintain high quality records in a robust evidence-based compliance system
  • Keep up to date with legislation and best practice and communicate and share knowledge across the team

Profile

  • Health and Safety qualification IOSH / NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire
  • Experience of working in property services/property compliance/health & safety for the care or social housing sectors
  • Knowledge and understanding of property compliance in the care and social housing sectors in relation to landlord's duties and associated regulatory, statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Experience of maintaining accurate records.
  • Able to work on own initiative managing constant and often conflicting demands
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
