My client as a leading Global manufacturer of natural ingredients for the food and beverage sector. They are now looking to strengthen their team with a Junior Technical Account Manager to manage and develop UK Accounts.

The Role

You will be responsible for achieving sales growth by developing and expanding sales of natural food ingredients to existing customers within the food and beverage sector in the UK.

You will identify and pursue business development opportunities at new and existing customers within beverage, dairy, bakery and other food sectors.

You will support allocated customers with technical product selection across several applications.

You will develop and implement account and territory plans for your markets.

Requirements

You will have a degree in Food Science or a similar scientic subject.

You will ideally have a minimum of 1 years practical experience in a product development or applications role within the food and beverage sector, ideally working with food ingredients, colours or flavours and have either made the transition into a commercial role in the B-2-B food ingredients sector or be keen to further your career by taking on a customer facing commercial role.

You will ideally have some experience working in product development of food ingredients, flavours, colours or other allied food or beverage products or selling food ingredients.

You will have proven capability to manage customers and prospects, develop and maintain strong relationships and to deliver high levels of service.

Creative, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about food, its appearance, ingredients and industrial processing, you will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a strong customer focus.

You will be results driven with energy and ability to work to deadlines.

Full UK driving licence required.

Desire and flexibility to travel both within the UK and overseas.

This position will have some home working but there is a requirement to be in the office in Derbyshire for c2 days a week.
