Full-Time English Teacher -
Daily Rate: 140.00 - 240.00, depending on experience.


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join a secondary school in Derby, starting in January 2025. This full-time role is contracted until at least July 2025, with a strong likelihood of continuing in September 2025 after the summer holidays. The successful English Teacher will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Part-time applicants will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons as an English Teacher for KS3 and KS4.

  • Uphold the school's ethos of respect, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as an English Teacher at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
