Maths Teacher job - Derby

Start date: ASAPSubject: Maths at KS3 & KS4Timetable: Full Time

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school in Derby who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher. To be successful, you will be a Maths Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.

Job Description

  • Delivering engaging and creative Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field
