Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in sports and physical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that encourages physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and ensure a safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
