A college in Derby is seeking a temporary Teacher of Economics to join their team towards the end of February. This role involves teaching Economics and Business at A Level, as well as GCSE Business.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Economics and Business to A Level and GCSE students.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to the varying needs of students.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning experiences.
- Qualification in Business/Economics.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Experience teaching GCSE and A Levels in Economics and Business.
- DBS on the update service.
