Hays are working in partnership with a Ofsted 'Good' 11-18 Academy in North Derbyshire. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach all sciences up to Key Stage 4, with the ability to teach science up to Key Stage 5 being desirable.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
