The stores operative will work within a workshop environment, carrying out inspections and repairs to customer specification, this role involves going to customer sites.
Duties include
- Visual inspection of engine stands & products delivered
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Painting duties
- Taking delivery of products and storage
- General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the workshop area
- Manual handling with full adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Engage in training, development and education in order to keep skills and knowledge current and to strive for continual improvement
Requirements for the role
- Visual Inspection
- FLT an advantage but not essential
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication (would be advantageous)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Willingness to travel to local sites and be on call
- Valid driving licence essential
Full time 38 hours Mon Thur 8:00 - 16:30 & Fri 7:00 - 13:00
Hourly Rate - £11.44- £11.52 per hour + Overtime rate
