Rate of Pay: £16 P/H (Umbrella)

Derby Council are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker to assist in delivering housing support within their emergency accommodation.

Main Duties:

  • To assist in delivering the accommodation support and activities service in Milestone House, the emergency accommodation provision for single homeless customers, ensuring quality of service and continuous improvement for customers.
  • To support those people residing in Milestone House to move on to appropriate accommodation.
  • To ensure the health and safety requirements within the building are maintained at all times.
  • Ensuring that appropriate needs, risk assessments and support plans are completed and reviewed within the procedural time frames.

This role involves shift work (8am-4pm / 12pm-8pm) on a 7 day rota basis.
