Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Crisis CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to work in NHS Derby on a temporary agency contract.

Working Hours:

  • Shifts available Monday to Sunday
  • Minimum of 4 shifts per week
  • Shift timings: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Pay

  • Day- £27Ltd an hour (paid via an umbrella)
  • £24.43 Paye Inclusive
  • £21.80 Paye Exclusive

There are uplifts at weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assessment & Treatment: Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs.
  • Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Crisis Intervention: Support children and adolescents in crisis, providing timely intervention and management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Safeguarding: Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable young people.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • A recognised mental health qualification (RMN, Social Work, or equivalent).
  • Experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) is preferred.

Contract Type:

  • Temporary Agency Contract
