The Role:
In this role, you will form part of the EDI team and focus on a role that is group wide. Not only will you support the strategy that supports our social value vision
This is a hands-on role from design, planning, and implementation focused on driving revenue by supporting our customers reach their sustainability goals. The individual should have experience related to the construction industry and social value where possible. The successful candidate will also be required to enable the implementation of strategies and winning of future projects.
Responsibilities:
Advising the commercial team on securing supply chain involvement.
Identifying Social Value champions on projects to support the delivery of targets
Advising on the design and delivery of the social value plan and how it will be achieved.
Identifying and liaising with relevant partner organisations, such as local schools, charities, employment and skills agencies.
Guiding on reporting within required timeframes internally and to clients and stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills; be both personable and able to influence
Excellent written skills; able to present data in reports and bids
Excellent IT skills; in particular knowledge of Word & Excel
Pleasant and confident manner
Proactive and delivery-focused
