Job Title: Primary Teacher

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a Good-rated Ofsted primary school in DE21. This part-time role involves teaching Year 2 for two days per week and providing PPA cover for other classes on the remaining days. This position is well-suited for ECTs and those with HLTA experience looking to develop their teaching career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in alignment with the National Curriculum
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents to support student development
- Prepare students for national assessments
- Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Uphold school policies and encourage a respectful learning atmosphere
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Experience in teaching (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
