About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with behavioral difficulties. This full-time role is based in Linton and requires a commitment from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. You will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to help the child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with behavioral difficulties.
  • Implement strategies to manage and improve behavior.
  • Assist with academic tasks and provide personalized learning support.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the child's needs are met.
  • Monitor and record the child's progress, providing regular feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with behavioral difficulties.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
