About the Role:

Career Teachers is looking for a warm and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in the City of Derby. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide loving and tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programs.
- Monitor and celebrate student progress, sharing their achievements with teachers and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student development.
- Participate in school activities and events, spreading joy and positivity.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student success.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support (preferred but not essential).
