SEND Teaching assistant within Derby needed.
TeacherActive is working with a SEND (Special and educational needs) school in Derby to find a SEND Teaching assistant who has a true passion for working within an SEND setting.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working with SEND - Ideally high end ASD (Autistic spectrum disorder), MLD (Moderate learning difficulties) and SLD (Sever learning difficulties).
The successful Teaching assistant will need to:
- Have sensitivity and understanding.
- Have active listening skills.
- Be patient.
- Have the ability to remain calm in all situations.
- Enjoy working with other people.
