A leading precision engineering company based in the Derbyshire area, they focus on large manufacturing projects for a well-established client base.

The Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker role:

Due to recent expansion and busy on-going contracts, an opportunity for 4 semi-skilled sheet metal workers is now available:

Responsibilities:

  • Working to tight tolerances from 0.5mm on aluminium.
  • Working within a fabrication department.
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings.
  • Working independently whilst maintain standards and project requirements.

The Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker:

  • Previous experience as a sheet metal worker.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment working on machinery to bend, shape and countersink materials.
  • Able to work on thin gauge metals such as aluminium.
  • Capable of using fabrication tools such as brake press, guillotines, band saws.
  • Able to work safely.
  • Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
