We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a leading steel company based in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to work on non-portal frame projects, including chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for complex structural steel projects
• Working with chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel, ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary details
• Assisting in tender submissions and contract negotiations
• Managing project costs and ensuring profitability

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in the structural steel industry
• Knowledge of chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel (non-portal frame projects)
• Experience with green energy, renewables, or MOD/Nuclear projects is a plus
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
